Mother's Day Celebration

So we had a great time celebrating Mother's Day for my Mom & Sis. We went to Carrabba's for dinner and then took my Mom painting at Canvas By U. We had a blast I still haven't washed my hair since I woke up Saturday morning with the worst cold so I am wearing a dirty bun :( I hope everyone had a wonderful time celebrating with their families I know I did.

Sevananda Natural Foods Market

Hey yall,
I almost hit the floor when I saw this huge block of Shea butter on Saturday for seven dollars! (lol ok I know I am dramatic) But no on Saturday I got in the car and drove down to Little 5 here in Atlanta  a trendy cool vibe type of place and their is a natural food store there called Sevananda. I got a few things besides this block of Shea, I also got handmade soap and Castile soap to shampoo my hair all of this came to a total of 11 dollars yall! I was so pleased with this experience they are the best neighborhood store, here is the link if you are in the Atlanta area and haven't been.

Out And About In The City: Sheridan's Frozen Custard

Hey yall,
So Saturday was a very chill type of day, I had made plans to spend the day with my family since I haven't seen them all since a few weeks ago. So we went for lunch and then to Sheridan's Frozen Custard and it is amazing. It has been around for a few years and my family and I have always enjoyed having it as a special treat on a hot day. Custard is a creamy, cold desert that doesn't taste like ice cream and comes in either chocolate or vanilla. I had the vanilla below with fresh strawberries and my sister a Royal turtle with chocolate, hot fudge, caramel and salted pecans. My Mother watched us enjoy since she is doing Weight Watcher's and my nephew had just plain chocolate his favorite. Out And About In City: Echelon 3000

Hey yall,
So yesterday while running over to my best friend Alex's house she mentions to me that she wanted to go out  and asked if I wanted to go. I laughed and said "Umm sure" We went to this lounge Echelon 3000 and I must say that it was a  nice chill environment it was of course a full bar and grill, lined with with leather couches and floor to ceiling lights. We stayed and had a drink and snapped a few pics. We left and went to the Velvet Room and well yeah, I was reminded why I don't go to actual clubs. But this place was a completely different scene! Out And About In Atlanta: Canvas By U

Hey yall,
So I waited all week for Friday night because my good friend Nekita, Shaquana and her friend Cicley and I went to a place called Canvas By U. Which is an art studio and we painted the pictures that you see below the cost is $35 and that includes the paint and canvas(the wine of course is brought on our own!) . This an amazing place the artist already sketched the outline and taught a three hour class that took us step by step to a finished painting( also we drank wine and painted so I am excited mine came out so good!) Each of us painted the same woman but each put our own flair to it. Because I was drinking wine I did have a few mistakes, but we had so much fun. I wanted to take more pictures but my phone died while painting, but here are a few below.

Out And About In The City : Atlanta Cupcake Factory

Hey yall,
So yesterday afternoon once Alfredo and I left the Aquarium and the World of Coke we headed over to the Atlanta Cupcake Factory. The day before I was at work wanting a Red Velvet Cupcake and found this place and the reviews made my mouth water. It is a tiny little shop located in the Virgina Highlands and let me tell yall the 20 minutes that we spent driving past the shop ,walking to it and me worrying that my car would get towed because I was parked on the side of the street was worth it! Once we got there on display were the flavors of the day (I think it was 35 of them). I of course chose my Red Velvet and Alfredo had a Strawberry Cupcake. I waited until we got back to the car snapped a picture of it and then enjoyed it(forgetting that I was parked on the side of the road lol). This was such a tasty cupcake not dry at all and the perfect cream cheese frosting. The cupcakes are $2.50 for one which is fine by me because one was enough. I plan on going back soon!

Out And About In The CIty

Hey yall,
So yesterday I spent the day with one of my favorite people Alfredo! We went to the Georgia Aquarium and the World of Coke which is located in the heart of downtown Atlanta. We purchased the Pemberton Place Pass which allowed us to spend unlimited time in both exhibits for $39.50. Parking was of course $10.00 per car. I must say that we had a blast despite the fact that we got there early it was still kind of crowded.The Georgia Aquarium opened a few years ago and was such a big thing here, I went then and going back was fun the second time around, I took a ton of pictures and we walked through the aquarium in about 30 minutes. The World of Coke of course is where had the most fun because it has been remodeled and moved from it past location neither of us had been since it re-opened. This was the best experience out of the two there was a 4D show that was interactive with sound, motion and water(my face got wet lol!) Of course before we left we went upstairs and sampled different Coca-Cola products from around the world it was 65 in all and then received a free keepsake bottle of Coke made there!  Below are a few pictures.
