Weekly Protective Styles

So last week I wore my hair in two large braids and was told by everyone that I looked like a kid, I pulled my hair up and pinned the braids around into a halo. I'm currently sitting here with my hair in twists but I promise I will post a pic of the takedown. Meanwhile here is a throwback pic to the week after Christmas of my hair, I didn't post the pic because my eye was super red and irritated because of a rouge contact.

Perm Rod Set

Happy New Year! So I washed my hair and prepared it for a perm rod set on Wednesday. My friend's were getting married on Friday and I wanted to make sure that my hair had plenty of time to dry. I used the teal perm rods(purchased from the beauty supply store),eco styler gel and lottabody wrap lotion. I kept them in for two days, I was actually able to sleep with them in and my hair turned out really good. I had a little bit of product that flaked in my hair but it turned out well.
