Twisted Up..Again

So I know it has been a while since I have posted but I will try my best to catch you guys up to speed. So last weekend I went to a friend's wedding and wanted to do something different and fun with my hair. Well knowing how I am I attempted the style days before just in case I didn't like it ( I wanted to avoid rushing out the door at the last minute especially because it was out of town). So I tried a fishtail braid...umm yeah let's say it was horrible I tried it on stretched hair and it was frizzy and you could hardly tell it was a fishtail. So I tried doing it on wet hair and again it was horrible, and of course I didn't take pics of it. So for the wedding I wore my hair in a low bun and pinned a flower on the side. So Thursday night I came home washed my hair and decided to use Coco Curls to do a wet set of medium sized twists. It was warm today so I pulled them up and because I did them while wet the shrinkage factor came in(grrr). Anyhoo, I did some work today and re-opened iheartcurls for business. Remember when I talked about almost passing out from a headband headache a couple of months ago??? Well I re-opened and am giving a hand at them. I would love to send one to all my readers no matter if you comment, post or even follow I just want to say thanks to everyone for allowing me a place to talk about my hair and my randomness lol. I Heart Curls Update

Hey yall,
I Heart Curls celebrated it's first sale this week and I am so excited, I actually sold two products. I am very pleased with the progress that the store is making and I plan to re-stock and add new products soon!
P.S. I am thinking of framing a dollar but that might be a bit too much right lol

Hey yall,
Yesterday my sister's friend threw a party for women entrepreneurs and I was asked to join in so I packed up my stock of I Heart Curls and headed over. Since I had plans with my mom we went after the movie and let me say it was a wonderful evening we laughed and chatted and I sold all of my stock! I am so excited to have my products out there and in use and plan to whip some more up soon! I just wanted to let yall know how happy I was about that!

Attention: I Heart Curls Was Born Yesterday!

Hey yall,
So as yall know for the past few months I have been tinkering around with making my own hair products and starting an online store. Well back in March I had decided on opening but because of a vendor that I decided to try out my order was late and I decided to push the open date back until May. Yesterday I woke with a long list of things to do and one thing was to buy a stand mixer to mix up my new products. Once I got home I noticed the jars that I had received from Camden Grey months ago and BOOM a fire was lit under me. I turned up my itunes and begun mixing and before I knew "I Heart Curls " was born and is now open for business on etsy. I am so excited because this idea has been in the corner of my mind since this time last year and I had  no clue where or how to start. Now one thing that I do admit is that I have learned so much from the natural hair blogs and researching is definitely the biggest thing. I am so happy that I have a name because I struggled with that idea as well. So please know that I am not here to force anybody or mass market to yall my items(I refuse to push my own product, but others yes!) (I'm joking) but I am just proud that I have finally done it, I feel like a proud Momma. LOL.
