Re-Visiting The Wash n Go

As usual today is wash day and I have been wanting to do something new with my hair, it seems that I have worn it in the same ponytail (with a few variations)for the past few weeks. So I needed to pick up some more Eco styler gel and decided to grab the Krystal kind. I figured that I change my shampoos and conditioners so why not switch up my gel. I co- washed my hair with Tresemme Flawless Curls in about 10 sections. I then started to rake the Eco styler gel through my hair in the same ten sections, the who thing took about an hour and a half to complete (co-washing and raking the gel through) My hair is about 80 percent dry and I am loving that there is zero frizz and poofiness. Below are pictures of my hair once I finished, I will check back in tomorrow once it is completely dry.

Natural Makeup Look

The face: Maybelline fit me stick foundation in 355 Coconut, Covergirl pressed powder in Tawny, Nyx Blush in Terra Cotta 

Eyes: ELF eyelid primer in sheer, BH cosmetics 28 neutral palette, Nyx waterproof black eyeliner, NYC Sky Rise mascara in extreme black

Lips: Revlon Lipstick in Just Enough Buff, Nyx lip liner in Nude Truffle 

Brows: Filled with NYC brow pencil in Dark Brown

I washed my hair Sunday night and twisted it in 12 large twist half up and half down and left them in until Thursday morning, this is the result of the takedown.

DIY Crochet Slouchy Beanie

Twisted High Ponytail

So Saturday was wash day for me, this was also my second wash after taking out my twists so I knew my hair would be a bit tangled. I washed my hair with black soap and then used my Trader Joe's conditioner. I left a bit conditioner in my hair and twisted, this is the way my twist out came out. See my pic below.
