Perm Rod Set

So Friday night I set my hair on perm rods, I knew that it would take forever for my hair to dry so I decided to only spray each section with water that I set on the rod so my hair was only damp enough to rod it. I used the Lottabody Wrap Me foaming mousse and a bit of Pink Ecostyler gel. It took me about an hour to rod my hair and I used about 40 rods( I know it's a lot but I have a lot of hair lol) I left the rods in all weekend(Sunday night I went to Walmart and gave not one care as I shopped with my pink rods lol). My hair lasted a day and a half we woke up to snow and sleet this morning in Atlanta so I pulled it into a high ponytail and weathered the storm. But my bestie shot a good pic of my hair yesterday at work. Now I'm gonna rock a wash and go for the rest of the week...details to come.

Braids Takedown

I took my braids out last weekend it took me about four hours and then I washed and detangled with HerbalEssence. I pulled my hair in a high ponytail and separated it into three sections for a braid out ponytail. I wore my hair like this all week, we are bracing for a winter storm here in Atlanta so I'm sure cabin fever might set in...stay tuned for my next style. Stay warm love bugs!!!

First Protective Style of 2015

So last weekend I was beyond lazy and it was kind of chilly here, so I decided to wash my hair and do a protective style. I wanted to do mini twist but my bestie has had my blow dryer on hostage for months. So I washed my hair and decided to do a set of braids, I used the Cantu twist and lock gel and love the results. My hair has managed to stay frizz free all week, but still soft and shiny. I honestly can't tell yall how long these braids too because it was a three day weekend so I was in no rush to count time or finish. But I will say that I started Saturday afternoon and took several breaks and then finished before 11. See the pic below.

Braid Out and Juice Fast

Ahh today is day four of my fast, I'm juicing and allowing myself one meal within reason. Each day gets better, trust me. Anyhoo, I did a braid out with twelve braids using Ecostyler Krystal and Lottabody styling milk.
