Hey yall,
So Saturday night I made flax see gel and I had plans on wearing my hair out this week. It has been pretty warm here but as usual the weather changed and it has been a bit chilly. So I co-washed this morning and decided to shingle my hair in the same four sections I had co-washed in. I used my denmen brush to smooth the FSG through my hair and also raked it with my fingers. I have used the gel for twist outs but this was my first shingle. I must admit at first I thought that it wouldn't be enough hold but as my hair dried the hold got a bit harder. I am planning to wear my hair like this until my next wash day next week.
Xoxo,
TwistedMarie
P.S. Have any of you tried FSG before? How did you like it? Please comment below :)

Hi! I am a new follower (found you via Braid with Me/Beads Braids and Beyond). Love your shop and will patron soon! I am transitioning (around 5 months) and just started learning about natural hair and what I've been doing (WAY WRONG) with my 4.5 year olds hair! Oye. Anywhoo, we just made a shea butter mix for the first time last night and will be trying the flax gel next. I've heard lots of good things about it and her 3c/4a hair hardly holds - I've tried Oyin pomade, Fantasia IC gel, olive oil gel - no dice! So, I've got my fingers crossed on this. Thanks for sharing, I like your blog!
