Itchy scalp???
So I've been trying to keep a schedule of co-washing every week, and noticed that after about three days my scalp itches something insane...I co-wash it and a few days later the problem returns. I assumed that maybe it was dry so I added oil and Carol's Daughter honey hair mimosa and noticed that the itches just wouldn't go away. I've amped up my workouts but other then working out nothing was different with my hair routine. Today almost mad from the itching I decided to actually wash my hair with dare I say it...a poo shampoo. For those that are newly natural "poo shampoo" contains sulfates and often detergents that strip your hair. I know this sounds bizarre but I needed to strip all the product out of my hair because I wasn't experiencing dry scalp but intense product buildup. Co-washing is amazing but I needed something that would be able to remove all the product from my hair and scalp and get it really clean. I don't plan on using this shampoo all the time but once a month I will be reaching for it to clarify my hair and scalp of any old products. If you are experiencing intense itching and have been co-washing grab a cheapie shampoo and give it a try, you will be surprised at it's relief!

Super lazy twists
It's hot like 105 degrees hot out in Atlanta and I attempted to do a wash and go last weekend and nearly melted under all my hair. So these twists became the next best thing, I have two large front twists in the front and than about 15 medium twists in the back. This was an easy and super quick style, I'm going to keep them in for a few days before I try a twist out! Stay cool loves!

Mini Twists Update
I've been MiA for a bit but just recently got back from vacation I went to Dubai with my sister and the trip was nothing short of amazing. My hair held up pretty good during the 100 + degree weather but I think I will take my twists down next weekend. I've seen a lot of sweaty days and feel like my scalp and hair can use a really good wash. I have a few pics below.

Mini Twists
So I needed to install a protective style and pack for my upcoming vacation, and this past weekend was my only free weekend to do my hair. I washed it and dreaded the detangling session because it had been about three weeks since my last wash (eww) and I have been working out on the regular so I knew all of that made for a long wash day. Anyhoo, I washed and detangled in an hour and than started twisting my hair. I had my hair divided into about 6 sections and worked my way twisting from back to front. Coupled with a few lifetime movies the time flew by. Six hours later including my wash time I had these perfectly mini twists with insane shrinkage. I used ecostyler clear to twists and I happy with the results. See below.
