Twisted Bun

So even though spring arrived about a month ago it's already starting to feel like summer here in Atlanta. Most days are hot and humid, so I rocked a protective style for about two weeks. They were regular medium sized two strand twists, that got super frizzy due to my workouts. So I pulled them in a high bun with a bit of ecostyler gel to hold back my flyways on my edges. In all these twists took me about an hour and a half to do and I only used Shea moisture's curl enhancing smoothie to twists. Today was wash day and now I'm rocking a braided ponytail pics of that to come soon.

I don't believe that this picture was ever posted but why does dirty hair always yield the best hair?!??!

Simple Protective Stlye

So this is a simple and quick style it's two flat twists in the front and then the rest of my hair is pulled into a loose textured bun. A few days ago I had a few braids but they have gotten puffy from wearing my hair down from the week. This was an easy style and worked great for me this week especially since I didn't feel like washing my hair lol. See the pics below

It's Been A While

So my absence has been a lot longer than normal, nothing really new is happening with me and I feel like I've gotten super bored with my hair. We are well into Spring but the weather has been super weird lately here in Atlanta so it's not exhaustingly hot but also not really cold. I haven't done much with my hair and it seems like things are finally slowing down at work. Plus I had two vacations that I took back to back and really missed being at home (I'm a homebody)! Anyhow, I'm back and planning on posting more regular since things have slown down for me....this post is about to be super pic heavy because of the styles I haven't posted...but of course it's nothing too fancy lol.

Early Mornings

I've been working like crazy so protective styles are my best friend lately. These are medium sized twists took about 4 hours and was done on my old twist out from the other day. I just used a spray bottle to  re-wet every sections and eco styler to twist, I actually appreciate the shrinkage they give me a chance to rock them super curly.

Friday

So the weather was super nice yesterday and I decided to rock my twist out for a day or two. This style is about 12 large twists and this pinned on one side. I'm currently in the process of twisting my hair back up now...pics of that to come later!

Super Bowl Party Hair

Whoa where are the weeks going, I feel like the month of February is passing by so fast. So last weeks hair, I didn't feel like washing it but I knew that I needed to at least twist it up and look presentable since I had a long week ahead of me. So I parted a small section in the front and made medium sized twists. The remaining hair I twisted into larger twisted and then pulled them into a high bun. I of course used Shea moisture as my styler and my hair felt so moisturized when I took the twists down, that styler will forever remain a favorite of mine. See the pics below.
